These are "underwear" in the historical sense, meaning that if you lived in the early 1900s you'd consider this to be underwear. Luckily, we live in more enlightened times, and can see that a cotton knit cardigan/shirt is just a good idea in general, and deserves to see the light of day without being considered uncouth. Still perfectly functional as a thermal, it's got a lot of stylistic versatility thanks to its comfortable fit and quality construction.

It features a single chest pocket, which we'll note was a rather rare detail for a garment like this even during its era, making these extra special. Everything closes up with tonal corozo nut buttons for a more natural finish.

The fabric is a heavy knit cotton, with a tight face that resists wind. Both sides of the fabric are thoroughly brushed, making these extremely soft and warm throughout. Over time, the tight knit will relax and take the shape of your body, like the best denim and leather does. Also, it's 100% cotton.
